Back from anodisation
We received some sample hubs from the anodisation and we are pretty happy with the results. Hubs will be available in black or silver finish and cogs in black or smoked champagne hard anodising (pictured). Instead of the classic anodisation, this process gives optimum technical properties without regard to aesthetic effect. hard anodising gives a coating which may be considered in many ways analogous to the case hardening of steel. It makes the cog harder and stronger than steel but with the lightweight advantages of the 7075-T6 alloy (the cogs in smoked champagne finish will look lighter for the production). The hubs are pictured with grade 12.9 steel bolts that will be available as spare parts. Last point, the bolts on front hubs (titanium or 12.9 steel) will be machined to fit classic road forks.
