Guillaume contacted us in February to get informations about our bespoke bicycles production. Eight months later, he is riding his own Victoire Véloce with custom paint.  Guillaume was racing a lot, and after a little break, he wanted to come back on the roads with a performant, comfortable and easy handling bicycle.  The steel is the best material for a tolerant bike, and the Columbus HSS, the last creation of the Italian manufacturer, is the best solution to make a performant road bike. The special shape of the tubing close to the key area that are the bottom bracket and the headtube, brings the perfect balance between stiffness and shock absorption.

Guillaume firstly wanted a colored clear coat, but when we published Brahm's Véloce bike, which is similar to the idea he had in mind of his bicycle, he came back to us to make an original paint. Thus we chose a three colors paint scheme, to match "Mango" Chris King components built on the bike.

Guillaume selected a Sram Force22 groupset, which is to us the best ratio quality/weight/price on the market. He also chose a complete Chris King set: bottom bracket, headset and hubs, which are laced on H+Son rims to make a perfect training wheelset.

The whole bike weighs 7,5kg with Speedplay pedalsGuillaume has been riding his bike for quite some time now and this is his own words:
"Once I'm riding, hands down the handlebar, nobody can stop me! The chainstays are really stiff, however the bike absorbs really well the vibrations whereas all the carbon frames around me make lots of noises! When you are in a "danseuse" position, meaning standing up on the pedals, the front of the bike is really nervous and I'm really happy with it! Thanks a lot!"

If you ride next to Paris, you will probably meet Guillaume smiling on his Victoire bicycle! You can check his first feedback here : http://bit.ly/265NxMm
