Victoire at the 24h of Paul Ricard track
While a part of the Victoire crew was riding the Dalsland Runt in Sweden, riders from Chilkoot, took part to the 24h of Paul Ricard in Le Castellet, France. Among them, two Victoire Virage fixed gear, riding by Luc Royer and Thierry Saint-Léger.
Luc gave us a feedback about this endurance race:
" Our Victoire Virage were great on the asphalt of the very winding Paul Ricard track. I regularly enjoyed passing the fastest cyclists after the double right turn of le Beausset. These Victoire frames have a very good acceleration! We were only 4 fixie riders among the 2000 participants."
The results of our two Chilkoot riders:
- Luc Royer, in team with Thibault Lataillade / Duo category / N° 202 / fixed gear
118th overall out of 187 / 7th DUO category / 169 laps / 642,2 km / Best Lap in 6'28"
Thierry Saint-Léger, Tichodrome Floracois / Solo category / N° 107 / fixed gear
136th overall out of 187 / 15th SOLO category/ 155 laps / 589 km / 24,218 km/h average speed / Best Lap in 7'02"
