The Veloce Ventoux tested in L'Acheteur Cycliste
The Veloce Ventoux, variation of our sportive model for the pure climbers, is born from a challenge lauch by the French magazine L'Acheteur Cycliste. They asked to some builders to build a frame close to 1 kg. After a first 1050g prototype, a second frame in Reynolds 953 tubing was made for a final weight of 1300g.
This is this model that you can find in the last issue of L'Acheteur Cycliste of May 2016, through a 6 pages test wrote by Alexandre Lombardo. This is his conclusion about the bike:
I loved to ride this bike. I tried to push its stiffness to its limit, without success. This bike rides well! It is probably one of the best bike for hillclimbing, but not only. You can come and go back with it. Wonderful!
