Gavin's feedback about Victoire Véloce

Gavin's feedback about Victoire Véloce

Last autumn, Gavin flew from Belfast, in Ireland, to Nice, to Café du Cycliste. He rented a Victoire Véloce to discover Nice back-country. This is his feedback:

"I was fortunate enough to be able to rent this bike from Café du Cycliste for a weekend last October, with each day being 120km with 2,500m of climbing and the Victoire Veloce was a joy thoughout. From the ascent of the Col de Madone, to descending from the Col de Turini back to Nice, the ride quality is beautifully smooth, but still with more than enough stiffness for climbing efforts and perfect geometry for handling high-speed cornering.

In short, not only is the frame a beautiful piece of Columbus steel craftsmanship but also an extremely proficient and comfortable bike for long days in the Alpes-Maritimes"

Gavin confirms here what we said in our article about Café du Cycliste, that you can find in our News section
